Cheshire Forest School hosts a variety of Forest School experiences including, 'Little Forest Folk', Forest School for our 1-4 year olds, Holiday Clubs, Children's Parties, Family Events and School Trips.  Set in our private, one acre woodland in the heart of the Cheshire Countryside, it is a wonderful place to relax, connect with nature and create memories through adventure and exploration.

We also visit schools to deliver Forest School sessions in their own wooded areas and also support schools to develop a Forest School area also offering advice on how to secure funding to do this.

School Visits

Forest School at your School

Forest School Taster Session

EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Children will learn to use tools and natural resources to make something to take home. This could include a spinner, boat, medal, natural frame, musical instrument or stick character and where possible could link in with something that you are doing at school.

The children will be able to explore the site and engage in other activities: creating a journey stick, bug hunting, woodland art, making a mini den for a woodland soft toy and a nature walk with plant and tree identification. Cheshire Forest School will have two of these set up for school staff to lead whilst groups are engaged in tool activities with the Forest School staff. The day will finish with a campfire where the children can toast a marshmallow and sing campfire songs.

We can bring Forest School to your school grounds, by passing the cost of coach hire and enabling you to offer Forest School for your children.

In addition we can support with the development of a Forest School area for you, offering advice with gaining and using funding.
